Things are looking up. Way up. Im buying my ticket to Chicago this week, and im not looking back. Im planning to leave January 13th, and I�believe this is the main step that Im taking that means im actually leaving.�It will be written in stone essentially. Im so excited, and I have a sense of pride in myself. This will be the farthest anyone in my family has actually ever moved from home, and its certainly the youngest age of anyone in my family to do so. My dad went to college in Korea, because he was stationed there for the Vietnam war, but I still think I�win.

Theres so much to figure out. All im bringing is clothes, and Im shipping some ikea furniture that I already own. But what stresses me out is how deliveries to apartments in metro areas works. Do they just leave your package out on the stoop to be seen by everyone? Sortof a security issue for me. If anyone knows how this works, let me know. Because I dont feel comfortable with them leaving my shit outside like that.
